Eh. The covers aren't that awful. A few are actually alright. Try designing a CD jacket and see how well you do.

My brother-in-law did the artwork for the last Warlocks album: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/...500_AA300_.jpg Somewhat simple design, but interesting. I don't think it takes a huge amount of imagination to come up with something different and striking. |

I think the Kings of Leon one was kind of a cheap shot. While I don't like them either, there's nothing really that bad about the cover besides just being a bit boring, I guess.
