Serj Tankian (SOAD singer) new album "Imperfect Harmonies"
 

I'm currious as to everyone's thoughts on it, as outside of the distinctive voice, it sounds nothing like System of a Down, as most of the album is very orchestra based, with a little rock influence thrown in.

I actually really like it thus far, as it seems like alot of thought and planning went into it. If anyone wants to hear it http://www.myspace.com/serjtankian

I've been feeling like Serj is just another pretentious rock star, so this album has interested me very little. I wish he'd just get SOAD back already.

I knew this wasn't going to be another "Elect The Dead", but I was still a bit disappointed with it. It'll probably grow on me though.

I really like it. I need to give it a few more listens, but I like that he's willing to try some new things rather than just stick with the same old sound.
