The Official iTunes Ping Thread
 

So with iTunes Ping, you can rate songs/albums, and see what other people are listening to and rating. You can then post comments and share things about music with the people on your list.

I'm sure not everyone uses iTunes here, but if you are using iTunes and you're on Ping (it only takes a few seconds to set up), lets follow each other. Might be a way to discover new music/artists...

Anyway, my name on Ping is Jason Kleeberg.

To set Ping up, go into iTunes, and under 'STORE' on the left hand side, you'll see Ping. Click it to get started. Basically, it's like a Facebook for music. You can follow artists or 'regular Joe's', like us. Go under 'People' and start adding people. It goes by your iTunes name (like mine above).
