Klaxons - Surfing the Void
 

first of all, when is the new second album actually being released here in the states? I find it odd, that the Klaxons would be touring North America for 'Surfing the Void' yet I can not find any info or preorders from Amazon, Barnes and Noble for this release. It's about $18 CAD on Amazon.ca... significantly cheaper than the $29 USD Amazon.com wants for the import.

It's a pretty good album, too. :)

went the Amazon.co.uk route and bought the Klaxons album, the new Underworld CD/DVD, and Royksopp 'Senior' album all averaging out to $13.33 a disc.

I love the cover of the album, but the music doesn't do much for me.

I agree with Cdollaz. 'Echoes' is a great track..the rest is pretty forgettable.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack. I have no idea when this is being released stateside.

No idea about a US release - I swore it was the same week as the UK one but that obviously is not the case. I've heard the album, though, and even though it didn't impress me as much as I was hoping it would, it's completely solid.

I'm seeing them next week in NYC and am expecting great things.
