Blind Musical Taste Test #10 - Jazz

Here's some Jazz from a Grammy winning album. I grew up listening to this stuff, so I've got a soft spot for it...

You probably won't know who it is, but just in case please don't post it. (Not that it would matter much in this case, but still...)

I'm not much of a jazz/rock fusion guy, but this is certainly fusion I can enjoy. It doesn't swing much, but that's one of the liabilities of the genre.

Anyone else? (I'm trying to post as many different types of music as I can...)

I like it. Short and sweet. Nice interaction, can't help but love that organ sound. I'd buy it.
Spoiler:
So is that a hint at the beginning of the video? I thought maybe that was an indication we'd all know this guy's father. Don't recall him winning a Grammy™, though.

Spoiler:
I don't know anything about this guy's father other than the fact that he was born before the turn of the last century. I wouldn't be surprised if you never heard of this bandleader - even though he was an active bandleader from the early 40's until his death in the 80's.

Gotcha. I was thinking perhaps
Spoiler:
the Play Misty For Me reference ("Dave Garver") would be a hint that this was Kyle Eastwood.
