Wow. If I dismissed songs just because they had nonsense lyrics, there wouldn't be very many songs to like.

Informer by Snow.
I thought he said "You know say daddy me snow me I go blam", but he really says "You know say daddy me snow me-a (gonna) blame."

I stopped listening to Judas Priest when I found out their dark satanic messages would make me shoot myself in the head with a shotgun.

None.
I really don't care about lyrics. If I relate to them and like them, they're an added bonus.

The theme to Star Trek. Roddenberry wrote the most obnoxious lyrics to cash in on royalties. Poor Alexander Courage. Whenever I hear it I think of him and how ticked I'd be if it happened to me.

There are some songs I don't listen to because of the lyrics, but I've never stopped liking a song that I liked because I read the lyrics.
This thread reminds me of the scene in Arrested Development when Michael and Maebe begin singing "Afternoon Delight" to each other. (can't find a link to the clip; all been taken down it seems)

For years I loved PE's "Bring The Noise" after hearing it on the 'Less than Zero' soundtrack way back in high school. Then a year or two later I read the line about "Farrakan's a prophet and I think you ought to listen to what he can say to you, what you ought to do, follow for now..." Umm thanks no.

So you people never heard a song that you thought sounded really cool... then got curious about its meaning and looked it up... and then didn't find it as cool as you had initially thought it was? I'm not saying you didn't like it anymore, just that it went down a notch in the coolness factor...

Duran Duran - I'm looking for Cracks in the Pavement, I pretty much noticed the lyrics sucked from the get go though, ugh so bad. The tune is OK though- has a ton of 80s cheesiness though

Related but slighty tangental response: "All Day Long" by New Order. It's one of my all time favorite tracks by them (particularly Barney's epic guitar solo at the end), but I recently realized that the song's about someone killing their own kid. Makes it a bit harder to listen to.

"Tequila". Turns out it's actually about an alcoholic beverage!

Wait, you stopped liking this because you found out he was singing in a made-up language? This is one of my favorite albums!!!
This isn't really what the OP is looking for but I love Best Coast's "Crazy For You", but the lyrics are all the same and just awful (I wish I had a boyfriend, I miss you, come back to me, I love you, etc. etc.)
