School of Seven Bells - Disconnect From Desire

Over and over all day yesterday and all day today. They officially streamed it from their site starting yesterday afternoon so of course a webrip showed up within hours.

A-m-a-z-i-n-g, particularly "Heart Is Strange" and "Bye Bye Bye". This *might* knock These New Puritans' 'Hidden' off as my favorite LP of 2010, but we need to let the excitement wear off and it sink in properly before we decide that.

Regardless, I'm very, very excited to be catching the tour four times this fall. Whee!

Friend of mine had this going during a bbq at his place on the 4th. I know it's kind of cliche but it's the perfect "summer" album. Finally got him to let me borrow it and have been rocking it all day today...good stuff.
