I'm loving this. I wish it was longer, but sit down and listen with a nice pair of headphones. Beautiful.

Lotus Flower is the best track on here. I think I'm starting to hate Yorke's voice. I'd be interesting in hearing this music with a more dynamic frontman.

There's some Bjork influence in chord progressions and drums on Little By Little.

Thankfully i just bought myself a beautiful new pair. There's no better band than RH for testing them out and after a couple listens i think "The King of Limbs" is gonna really give them a workout

Listening to it for the maybe 5th time. Every Radiohead album since Kid A has needed a dozen listens to sink in.

Most pretentious comment I've seen so far. From the Rolling Stone article feedback.

Scott Smith

"A masterpiece. I'm a smarter, better person for hearing it."

I'm wondering if it made his dick longer and cleared up his acne as well.

It's not bad, but the songs are all a bit too samey - not much to distinguish them from each other.
Also, Radiohead used to be good at melodies, just because they want to push musical boundaries doesn't mean they have to ditch good melodies, or maybe it does...

They haven't ditched good melodies. They've ditched melodies altogether.

or deconstruct it till it's unrecognizable.

i'm not digging it so far, yet the major fanboys are calling it their best work yet.

I listened to this so far and I have to say, it does sound different and I applaud them for pushing the boundaries of their sound:

Kinda how I'm feeling about it, too. First listen left me pretty cold, but maybe more spins may change my opinion. Compared to In Rainbows, which I consider to be one of their best albums, this is a very much a snooze fest.

Re: Radiohead LP8 (Possibly Out This Year?!)

What the hell has happened to this band? "Pablo Honey" was just o.k. But "The Bends" and "O.K. Computer" are two of the best albums in the past 25 years. "Computer" even being one of the best EVER! But then came "Kid A" and "Amnesiac". Which I can appreciate on an experimental level. But so sub par to their previous releases. Thankfully, "Hail to the Thief" and "In Rainbows" brought the band back to their roots. But, upon listening to this new album (after several listens), I'm afraid they took several steps backwards. Nothing is sticking and everything leaves me cold.

Just wrapping up my first listen. Nothing jumps out at me on the first listen, but that isn't rare with me.

I totally agree with this.

I thought The Bends was really good and then OK Computer came along and just blew me away.

Kid A was very weird but I still really enjoyed it, and the opening track is still just awesome.

Everything after Kid A has been a disappointment to me. So much so, that I couldn't even tell you much about the albums since then. They've been collecting dust somewhere in my house.

I really miss the Radiohead from the mid to late 1990s. And I don't think that band is ever coming back, I hope I'm wrong.

This is one of the funniest YouTube videos I have ever seen. It's an "instant classic".

There's already like a dozen different Thom Yorke Dances to Single Ladies. Here's another:

And then there's Hall and Oates:

Hated the album at first...now after about 6 times through, it's starting to grow on me. Definitely not their best album though.

from the last song Separator: "If you think this is over you are wrong"

New album to follow shortly, like Kid A and Amnesiac? Please.

Or at the very least...some b-sides. There was supposedly a lot of material recorded during the sessions for this album.
