Not on sale? I just gave my debit card for two tickets for the 6/10 showing in Indy, so I'm pretty sure I bought something.

Not playing anywhere near me but I'll catch it on Palladia or I'll rent it when it comes out. Looking forward to it; I certainly enjoyed Flight 666 so I hope this turns out similarly.

Got mine! Thanks for the heads up. Was going to wait for it on VH1 or Palladia but as they cut out some of Flight 666 I don't want to miss any parts of this one.

Not playing anywhere near me! Looks like VH1 will have it on in late June. I'm also getting a copy with my VIP ticket I purchased and I'm going to RushCon so I will probably watch it there as well.

Just got back from seeing this.
FUCKING. AWESOME.
Definitely worth seeing in the movie crowd setting. It was almost like being at a concert. Lots of people wore tour shirts, and everyone applauded at the end of the movie, including myself. I almost wore one of my Rush shirts myself, but I opted not to. Turned out I felt more out of place by NOT wearing it!

It was so moving to see Neil talk about what happened. I think it's the most I have EVER seen him talk on camera.
That old 8mm footage, thank god someone was recording them back in their early days.
The credits sequence was great too, stay through it if ya go!

Damn...
I'm in Fort Worth right now. The Dallas shows are sold out, except for the one that plays after I go back home to Canada. I could drive down to Austin to catch the Sunday show, as it isn't sold out... but man... that's a lot of driving for "just a movie"... but it's a Rush movie.
hmmmm....

Nice I forgot you close to the Cruzan right? I remember when it used to Sound Advice and I worked there and got free tickets and parking pass.
I was gonna go to last nights concert but our plans fell through a couple days before.
We gotta get together for show going with some friends that are making.....
Hokey did you get lawn seats?

I really enjoyed the documentary and thought it was really well made. My showing was pretty packed and as described by others in the thread.
I was a little disappointed by the presentation though. They just showed us a Blu-ray and they couldn't figure the damn thing out. We had to wait for them to adjust the settings and sit through the menu like eight times. And on top of that when they were setting the resolution they picked 480P. I'm pretty sure that theater could have handled the 1080P.

No lawn, got ticketed seats somewhere in section 4. First time seeing Rush after being a fan for 30 years, this should be damn cathartic!

It was good to see that Neil is open enough to talk about it as frankly as he did. Obviously his relationship with Carrie has played a big part in his moving on. This was also evident in the last chapter of "Ghost Rider", which I highly recommend anyone to read, if you haven't already.
As far as him talking on camera, I picked up his "A Work In Progress" tape several years ago, and he pretty well talked during the whole thing, but it was all about drumming. Nothing personal.

I was unable to attend due to a family emergency. I've heard this will be run on VH1 Classic. Any idea when?

In this particular situation, it's not a case of following their personal lives. It's not like Neil was late for a show because he was having a tooth pulled or something. This was pretty newsworthy, and it left one of rock's great bands in indefinite limbo while Neil got his life and mind back in order. I think the reasons that so few people knew the whole story are A) it happened in Canada, and people die up there just like down here, not really worth reporting on the US wire, and B) Neil's a pretty private person, and I'm sure a big part of the story was intentionally not given out in the first place.
