I know there are a few KSE fans, that would find this amusing

Rumors have been running rampant for weeks now regarding the reason why Killswitch Engage frontman Howard Jones stepped down from the band during the bands current headlining tour. ThePRP has now exclusively learned that Jones temporarily stepped down from his position as a result of allegedly getting pornstar Allie Foster pregnant.

To date Foster’s claims have not been verified publicly by the band themselves. However, the situation looks to have since taken a turn for the worse with Foster posting the following statement on her official Twitter page:

“Howard Jones of Killswitch engage, meet TMZ and your bitter baby momma coming with sweet sweet fuckin revenge you dirtbag.”

Foster also posted a photo of her ‘baby bump’ of what is alleged to be Jones‘ child here.

Meh, don't like Jesse. Don't get why getting someone pregnant would make Howard step down either.

I don't get why everybody wants Jesse back so much, Howard's been in the band a lot longer than Jesse has now. Plus Jesse screwed himself, it's not like the band really had any choice other than to get another lead singer.

He dropped out of their latest tour right before it was to start. They had Phil Labonte of All That Remains replace him. The band said it was for "personal resaons."

It got us a widescreen DVD release of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory after the original release was full-screen only.

But that's literally the only example of an online petition working that I can think of.

The Howard Jones and Allie Foster situation seems to have taken another intersting turn. For weeks now rumors have been circulating that Jones left Killswitch Engage’s ongoing tour as a result of getting pornstar Allie Foster pregnant.

Meanwhile, the band themselves stated that Jones left the tour to “attend to personal matters.” A series of posts made on Foster’s Twitter account over the weekend seemingly confirmed the initial rumors with a number of accusations being made against Jones.

However, today the following new post was made on Foster’s account:

“I lied. I’m fat, not pregnant. But Howard really still is a dirtbag. : ) had to get him back somehow!”

Another post claiming the Twitter account was hacked followed and reads:

“I DID NOT POST ANY OF THAT MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN HACKED. THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER POSTS UNTIL I GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS.”

Some were quick to notice that the latter post came from a different Twitter application (Echofon) than the one the majority of her other posts were made from (Tweetdeck), thus lessening (or increasing) the validity of it.

Others also began to speculate that Foster’s most recent comments may have been made as a result of ‘hush money’ or a pending paternity suit. While some merely speculated that Foster may just be trying to gain attention or get revenge on Jones for some past altercation.

Jones and the band have remained silent thus far throughout the ordeal. Given the nature of the situation, you can likely expect a lot of he said/she said to follow.

I was more annoyed that this happened before the San Francisco date on the tour. Really wanted to see them in a smaller venue.

All That Remains is mehhhhh. Then again I've never liked Phil Labonte's voice. When he was Shadows Fall's singer, I thought the band did themselves a service when they got Brain Fair (Overcast) to join.

some of us dont really like howards singing. i was a huge kse fan when jesse was with them. since howard joined i listen to them maybe 2 times a year.

I don't understand why getting a pornstar pregnant would force a singer to leave a band. I mean, shit, how many women from all walks of life has Mick Jagger gotten pregnant?

if i had to take a guess, maybe wants to be a dad to the kid... I haven't heard anything official from the band or anything. i wouldn't be surprised if Howard stays.

Im a fan of Howards singing, though its sad to hear the news, this is one of the bands I have been wanting to see for a while now.

I had a chance to see them in Dallas not too long ago, but decided against it. I regret it.
I guess this is one of those bands where I don't care who's singing... I enjoy the songs either way.

Never. Never, never ever. That Willy Wonka thing was a publicity stunt by WB to generate interest. Online petitions are known for being completely and utterly ineffectual at doing anything.

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have released the following statement:

"To our family, friends and fans: We have decided to continue on without Howard Jones as the singer of KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. We love Howard and are thankful for the nine years that we've had him in the band. Out of respect for everyone involved, we will not be discussing the specific reasons behind this decision. Howard is a part of our family and always will be, and we wish him well. He has left big shoes to fill, so we certainly have our work cut out for us to find the next singer of KILLSWITCH, something we plan on making priority #1 going forward. Most importantly, thanks to all of you for all the support throughout the years and for sticking by us for all this time. We really do appreciate it and we very much look forward to having a new record for all of you in the not too distant future that we can all be proud of."

Not really a fan of KSE.

Liked them better with Howard. He gave them a unique sound. Now they just seem like any other mallcore band.
