Yeah, it's phenomenal. 3:51, single take. Utterly brilliant. My kids and I watched it four times back-to-back this morning.

The song didn't do much for me but the video was pretty freaking cool.

Yeah. This is a cooler video, treadmill was a better song:

There music is derivative garbage but they sure know how to make a good video.

Hm. Guess I lucked out. I like the song AND the video.

Not quite. The guy who designed the machine was on Buzz Out Loud today, and he said that there is a cut. However, it's not because the machine didn't work -- he said they ran it from beginning to end three times -- but because the top floor ran better on one take and the bottom on another.

I was wondering how many times they ran it. I think I actually prefer this video to the treadmill one.

Another unremarkable song made interesting only by the video.

When I heard people talking up a new OK Go vid, I got excited. But then I found out it was for this song. I had seen the first video (with the college marching band) and thought horrible video, horrible song. Then I saw this video. Cool video, but the song is still horrible.

And the thing is, I like OK Go. Here It Goes Again was a really fun song, before the amazing video. When that hit, it elevated them. However, a decent video for a bad song doesn't do anything.

Admittedly, not one of their best songs, but no worse than anything off that Thermals album from last year. Video was brilliant, though.

I like that OK Go has now shot so many novelty videos that they can actually spoof their own stuff. Awesome.

Alright, I'm going to bump this thread again. There was an ad during the Super Bowl that teased this new OK Go music video as part of their promotion of the new GM Sonic. This video is really incredible and apparently took four months of preparations to get ready (including teaching the lead singer how to stunt drive). Unbelievable.

Yeah, I've been watching that a ton (my 3 year old absolutely loves these guys videos, so we sit down and watch all of them every once and a while, this one really hit a home run, as he is a car fanatic)

I actually didn't end up enjoying that as much as I expected to. That Rube Goldberg device is so overly complicated that it was hard for me to observe the trigger mechanisms and the cause-and-effect glory that is key to an interesting RG machine was spoiled.

I do like the (perhaps subconscious) tribute to the movie Tapeheads at the end (which actually occurred to me as soon as I saw the first guy).

Was it real? Seems like much of it was CGI.

There was music playing? I was too focused on the video.

Yeah that's what I get for posting late at night. I didn't realize it was my own, I thought someone else said it.
