Love this song. I remember as a kid it was one of my favorite 45s to play on the jukebox that my parents had. My young kids dig it now. Great song.

It is a great song, too. I love how some parts are just guitar, and other parts are baby-grand piano. A classic touch to a classic song.

I guess it helps if you grew up during the 70's era, which I did.
Heard the song many times.

Id Love you to want me was on a k-tel record set that I bought
way back in the 70's. This was good too.

See, some songs can be timeless, as I was born in the 70's and grew up on the eighties and nineties music. However, I embraced music that pre-dated me while I was in my 20's, and it's still the case now in my late-30's.

in New York City, radio stations would dedicate an hour to Led Zeppelin music, and they called it "Getting the Led Out." I thought it was a more "universal" term, but I guess it isn't. It's a "local" term for New Yorkers. Shorry.

You're crazy. This song is about freedom, and every time I hear it, I get transported back to a time of innocence and whimsy. The guitar parts are grand. Grand, I say!
