The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees 3 discs from Rhino

I just got my copy yesterday. Very nice box packaging with a 3-D-ish cover. The CDs come in mini-album style covers. I also got a 45 single bonus of St. Matthew/Lady's Baby for ordering early. I can't wait to listen to the band!

wow that was a pretty long gap between the other deluxe editions. Didn't they come out a few years back? I didn't even know one was out yet. I guess "Head" will be the next album?

$60?! Holy crap... I like the Monkees, but not quite that much.

I have been waiting very impatiently for my copy to show up after ordering it the second it became available. It's getting frustrating...

I'll bet you'll get yours soon. Mine just arrived yesterday. I actually forgot about it.
I've listened to the third disc so far and I'm really enjoying it. The first track on the rarities disc is a radio plug for 8 tracks with Davy Jones saying they sound as good as listening to music in a recording studio filled with $100,000 worth of equipment. Priceless.

The charge finally showed up on my card yesterday, so hopefully that means it will arrive in the next day or two.

It's always been one of my favorite Monkees albums so I'm super excited. That we had to wait a few years for it - and the ordering nonsense - heightens the anticipation.
