Re: Alan Wilder reunites with Depeche Mode in London tonight
I think most DM fans would not want Clarke to reunite with DM expect maybe on one song during a show. But everyone wants Wilder back. No, I would love to see Clarke give Erasure a break (who have been so tired for years), and do another album with Alison Moyet. Because that Yaz/Yazoo reunion tour was fucking smokin.
Yup, Clarke leaving allowed Gore to take on the song writing duties. Thank goodness, and it helped DM move down a darker/deeper sound imho.

There is a lot of online rumors and word that DM are having a big press conference within the next day or so. Many are speculating they are calling it an end. No one really knows. Stand by.

That press conference hasn't happened, yet. Even if it does happen, people were just guessing it would be the worst. I mean, this was everywhere on all the DM boards the other night. And who knows if Wilder will ever work with them again full time. It's what all the fans want, but.......

Dave did seem pretty emotional at the final concert. I hope he's not sick or anything.
Or maybe it could be the announcement that Wilder is back with the band. On the official DM site, they are promoting his new album, so...

Alan continues to work with DM, of sorts. Here is his remix of "In Chains" from Depeche Mode's last album. Clearly his stamp is quite clear since he left the band. This remix is brilliant, to say the least. And sounds better than anything DM have produced since he departed. Guys, work it out. Don't fix what ain't broken. DM is not DM without Alan Wilder, period. Especially live (sheesh).

That is pretty damn good. And yea DM seems to be doing mostly noise in their previous releases. Its annoying, whenever I start up the CD I have to have it low, or forward it before turning it up.
I think I need some solo Wilder, any recommendations?
