No, not the Beatles! Some 70's song featured it as a line, something "soft-rockish," adult contemporary - along the lines of Gordon Lightfoot - a guy with a guitar, saying something like: we were in a room, and we heard them playing sgt peppers lonely hearts club band (and that was the end of the verse).
