Re: The Official 2010 Rank 'em as You Hear Them Thread
I just want to point out that, regardless of the low level of full participation here, the wide variety of ratings is a testament to the overall greatness of this year so far - a lot of the same albums are at opposite albums of the spectrum on different people's lists, which says to me that it's an overall great year regardless of one's preference/taste.

Re: The Official 2010 Rank 'em as You Hear Them Thread
I'm coming late to the party. This thread is really the only reason I'm joining. I wanted to contribute to the "Rank 'em as you Hear Them", since it has introduced me to some great music over a couple of years now.

Re: The Official 2010 Rank 'em as You Hear Them Thread
I'm pretty late to this thread, but in my defense...I haven't been inspired to buy many 2010 releases! Anyway, I'm using my same generic categorization scheme from the other Rank 'Em threads.
Outstanding Up on the Ridge by Dierks Bentley Impressive American VI: Ain't No Grave by Johnny Cash Lifted Off the Ground by Chely Wright iTunes Originals by Norah Jones [iTunes exclusive digital album] Album Number Two by Joey + Rory Average Speak Now by Taylor Swift Disappointing Ain't Back Yet by Kenny Chesney [Walmart exclusive CD single] |
