Re: Gorillaz: Plastic Beach - New Album 2010 [9 March]
According to a post on Star Trak Entertainment, N.E.R.D will be supporting Gorillaz on all dates of their North American tour.
This differs from the support on the UK tour, where support will come from De La Soul and Little Dragon. UPDATE#1:The full list of guests for the North American leg of the tour has been revealed on Gorillaz.com . The full list is:- Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Bashy, Little Dragon, De La Soul, Bobby Womack, Roses Gabor, Bootie Brown, Kano and Miho Hatori (Miho to appear in Los Angeles and NYC only). The news posting on Gorillaz.com also says "please note some artists will not be appearing in all cities" - it's not clear if that refers to just to the fact that Miho will only appear at two dates, or if other artists may also vary throughout the tour. Well done to the fans who got behind the 'get Miho on the tour' campaign! UPDATE #2: The full press release for the North American tour announcements is out. Additional stuff we didn't post before:- *N.E.R.D will NOT perform at Montreal, QC or Wallingford, CT. *Murdoc will be chatting live from Plastic Beach on Thursday, September 16th at 5pm EST, 10pm London BST via Ustream and can be viewed on the band's facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/gorillaz. Fans can submit their questions in advance via Twitter using the hashtag #gorillazlive. Wish we were getting Little Dragon and De La Soul opening but this is going to be a blast. I'll be at the Detroit show. |
