I have to admit, these tunes are better than I expected from a Noel-less group. Wonder if Liam is the primary songwriter or if it's more collaborative. I'm assuming the latter?

Collaborative . . . although I can't remember how that breaks down track by track. This band is definitely operating as more of a democracy than Oasis did.

Oasis has barely been more than a blip on the radar, though I remember liking Wonderwall and Champagne Supernova when hearing them on the radio years ago.

That said, listening to the Beady Eye stuff, that was pretty good. I'll have to look further in to that stuff. (Wondering how close that is to Oasis' core material and if they'd be a good band to check out their back catalog.)

The Beady Eye album turned out a lot better than some were expecting. It has several pleasant tunes and generally feels to me like an unpolished Oasis album. Liam's voice appears to have returned in some form.
