Mink DeVille was around in the late 70s in the punk scene in NYC. Man, too many of these guys are dieing too young.

I was never a fan of Mink DeVille, but it's still sad to see Willy go. Really do like Storybook Love (with Mark Knopfler).

Cadillac Walk is the only song I knew by him. It was a pretty cool retro hit.

Mink DeVille's third album Le Chat Bleu is great.

Is it me or are more and more folk succumbing to pancreatic cancer?
 

The song I particularly recall is "Spanish Stroll" which I liked enough to buy a CD compilation. I'll spin it tonight in memoriam.
