I've had the early release the band offered on their website for a month. As a longtime fan, I've got a biased review. Still, I think it's solid effort, and I like it better than Rockford - even if it is a tad mellower overall. It's a bit of a grower, too. The production is the best I've heard from the band in years, and Robin Zander sounds particularly amazing throughout. (as does the rest of the band).

BTW - you can pick it up at Best Buy or Amazon for only $7.99 this week. Pretty much half of what it's going for everywhere else, and well worth it.

What I heard (minus the wimpy slow songs) sounded much better than Rockford to my ears.

I heard this reviewed on Sound Opinions over the weekend. They loved it. They also played Sick Man of Europe, which I loved. I will definitely pick this up.
