I'm expecting a very good album from Ace.

I remember hearing him play, "Sister," live back in 1994 and thinking that it was a really strong song. I figured back then if he could do a whole album with songs that strong that the next Ace Frehley album would be a killer.

Little did I know that it would take another 15 years for that album to be released! But, hey! It's got, "Sister," on it!!!

I almost popped in my ACE '78 cd the other day.

I have to ask...who designed that[the new cd's] CD cover? It looks kinda, Wolf T-shirtish. :lol:

Ace's 1978 solo LP gets a LOT of play in Casa Millheiser. It's just a great, straight-up rock-and-roll record. In interviews, Ace has said many times that he's modelling his new album after the 78 record, so I remain very hopeful.

"Sister" has been kicking around since before the Kiss reunion. I saw Ace perform it on the "Bad Boys" tour and I have it on an unofficial compilation of rareties called "The Other Side Of The Coin"

Not really feeling "it" with that one; seems kind of by-the-numbers. I mean, hearing Ace is always great, but that was pretty generic. Maybe it'll grow on me...

Liking it a bit more now that I've come home and listened to it again. It's growing on me. If nothing else, it FEELS like Ace.

Ace is still making albums? Hmmm, I have to ask Eddie Trunk about Ace now.

*For those wondering, Eddie Trunk, Q104.3 DJ, is a friend of my family and he has all of these great stories about Ace being totally bombed while recording albums in his Nazi uniforms.
