I'm not sure how long this lasts but Air's Talkie Walkie is $1.99 on Lala.com. It's one of my favorite albums.

I also found The Beta Band: Hot Shots 2 for $1.99 and Primal Scream XTRMNTR for 2.99.

I did not find any new, unheard of, lala.com exclusive Doves albums.

Thanks Dave, for posting that the new Paramore album is DOTD. My daughter loves them, so she will be very very happy. Almost went to BB to get the cd, but this is way more convenient and inexpensive. Thanks again!

Cool! Thanks for the heads up. I already own most of the ones on the list I'd want, which is a majority of them, but a few have slipped me by - I may definitely get a few of them at these sale prices that I don't have. In any case, I hope to listen to all the ones I haven't heard before for free once on lala.com after reading the list to see what will be worth getting for myself at some point.

I've not used Lala before. Is all of their music DRM free? What bit rate are they serving?

Speaking of lala.com, they have even more selections to choose from during this sale to coincide with the Pitchfork list. I'd suggest both Animal Collective albums for sure... and there are plenty of others.

Basement Jaxx - Rooty is $1.99, as is Radiohead - Amnesiac.

I already own the CD, but for those who don't... excellent album. Not my personal #1 though. Still, I loved the list Pitchfork made.

One of my all time favorites, Daft Punk - Discovery ranked #3 and is $2.99.
