My favorite will always be Thriller, but I greatly enjoyed the video for Scream.

Other: "Leave Me Alone"
I respect Thriller for what it was, as well as some of his other classic videos, but at the height of his success with "Beat It" I had had more than enough of my fill of MJ. "Leave Me Alone" was a fun video that poked fun at both himself and the media's view of him. Plus, how can you not vote for a video that features his chimp, his llama, a shrine to Liz and MJ dancing with the Elephant Man's bones? |

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
I could still watch Thriller any time of day, but Smooth Criminal still has a way of pumping me up somehow. Had to pick that one.

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
My favorite MJ video is Thriller.
|
Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
Does the Motown 25th anniversary Billie Jean performance count? ;)
I've gotta go with Smooth Criminal, but Thriller and Remember the Time are right up there, too. |
Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
Thriller. Without a doubt.
Actually, it's my favorite video of all time. = J |
Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
I LOVED the "Thriller" music video because it literally was like a mini-movie. It's still the gold standard that every other music video is compared to by many music critics.

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
I voted for "Thriller" but dam I love "Rock with You" it's a simple video but classic all-the-way.
|
Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
Thriller.

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
Another vote for Thriller... Not a huge MJ fan, but that video (and song) is great.

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
Thriller is #1 for a reason.
Otherwise the Motown Billie Jean with the first ever moonwalk And Scream |
Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
what's the song where all the dancers tilt on the floor - that's my fave.

^ thanks!

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
Thriller for me followed by Remember the Time. Blood on the Dance floor is the only one I haven't seen.
Has the music video died? They don't seem to be the rage now a days. |

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
Smooth Criminal (the long version from Moonwalker) is the best choreographed and edited video ever. And the set is just amazing. It's his best video by far. I hadn't seen it in years but VH1 and MTV2 have been playing it lately since he died and it still holds up. Who directed it? I think Vincent Paterson choreographed it with MJ.

Re: Favorite Michael Jackson video?
I vote Thriller. When I was a kid, my parents taped Thriller when it premiered and there was a "Making Of..." documentary before it and I used to watch both the video and documentary all the time.
