It very much sounded like a 'main, driving' theme.. a bit slow, but forceful.. and dang how do you describe it without recording a mp3 of horrible humming?

I thought maybe it was from the first movie, but its not on the score and its driving me nuuuuuts...

You linked to a track from the 1st movie's OST, so yeah, it's on there. I was disappointed T2's OST is only like 43 min, obviously there's a lot more that wasn't included. That's usually the case for scores, sometimes they'll come out with a deluxe version with everything on it, but rarely.

Re: Transformers 'RotF' score

yea, I noticed that part you're talking about was in the movie, but not on the RotF soundtrack as well. Or at least I can't find it. I haven't really listened to the whole soundtrack from beginning to end, second by second. Though it's my favorite part from any of the tracks from the movies.

I bought the first movie's soundtrack back in 2007 and had it for a few months. Hated the Scorponok soundtrack (mostly how it starts), so I always skipped over that track. And then I bought the CD for my friend's bday and he played the whole track and I was like holy crap, I haven't heard this part before. But yea, that part in the Scorponok track is awesome when you blast it with your speakers. :)

EDIT: the "youtube version" is shorter than the soundtrack version. The track is really 4:57 in length
