Why is it so Hard to Find Music Charts Online??
I swear, you would think music chart information was top secret data. I don't get it. For years, the only place I could find to show me the Active Rock and Alternative charts was www.radioandrecords.com.
Now, this site has shut down, and force you to subscribe to billboard to get the charts. I use the charts to find new music, discover new bands. Looks like the music industry would want people to have easy access to this! Can anyone recommend a site that shows me the current Active Rock chart? Also, I'm looking for a site that gives good reviews of rock albums, and no Rolling Stone aint it. |

I just go to amazon to do what you are trying to do. You can go to each genre, get a list of whats being released each week and they have it broken down by top sellers. You can even read customer reviews on the released albums. There's probably better sites but this gives me somewhat of an idea of whats coming out. You wont find the independent stuff but that wouldnt show up on a top selling rock chart anyways

www.americasmusiccharts.com
You're not gonna find Billboard charts for free. Even old charts from 50s, 60s, etc. you have to pay to view. |

I can see the current billboard top 100 just fine here, and for free too.
