Death Metal + Autotune + Emo = ??

Is this for real? It's like somebody dared this band to see how many shitty music trends they could squeeze into one song. Let's see...

Death metal vocals in the verse? Check.
Emo vocals in the chorus? Check.
Why don't we throw in some auto-tune in there while we're at it? Sure, why not?
And as a topper, how about some 90s' Euro-dance techno-y stuff (a la Real McCoy and La Bouche) in the breakdown? You got it!

My favorite part in the video is at 2:31 where the woman is covering her ears... I'm sure that's a common reaction to this song.

Their clothes are really tight. I wonder how they get them on/off.

The breakdown part was the only remotely cool part, but The Faint has been doing that for a decade.

Still waiting for a remix with Juelz Santana. Then it will incorporate everything wrong with today's music.

Saw this video the first time on headbangers ball the other day. I actually like the music, but the singing, video, and dancing are beyond lame

That techno interlude near the end is what really seals this one as possibly the most hilarious song of all time.

Edit: I just watched it again. I couldn't help it. I have to believe they're playing a joke on the music industry.

Nevermind the "who is this" question. The band's name is Attack Attack! Here are a few of their actual song titles...

Hey Bro! Ashley's Here!
Shred, White, and Blue
Party Foul
Okay, but I Have to Check My MySpace When We Get There

It needed a harp. No man can headbang while playing a korg.

I thought you were all joking about the eurodisco. They played a little keyboard and I thought "oh, they're overreacting a bit to that - " and then the disco started playing.

All in all, it sounded like I was going from room to room at a music venue with the same guy shouting behind me the whole time.

Apparently, this band "adheres to a strict sense of Christian beliefs."

DRG: I almost reported your post because it was so offensive.

Love the song titles though (but they're not as good as Anal ****'s song titles).

What the hell is "autotune"? Is that that new type of music I hear all over the place where all the vocals sound like gay robots singing? (not that there's anything wrong with gay robots)

Wow, that is epic too. That guy in pink is the man! I love how he "doesn't have time for lesbians" as I'm sure that's been a big downer in his life.

Basically. It's "supposed" to be used to pitch-correct vocal tracks when singers go off-tune. Then one of Cher's recording engineers figured out that it distorted the voice if you messed with the settings enough. The rest is history.

Edit: And after seeing that video ... all I can think of is that line from Futurama: "You watched it! You can't unwatch it!"

I already thought this was the worst thing ever. Then at 2:46, it shoots off the scale and becomes so horrible, its awesome.

Re: Death Metal + Autotune + Emo = ??

I kind of like the song... but as soon as the euro-trance and autotune come into play, it's unbearable. The video is among the worst I've ever seen, though.

This is from someone who likes a few artists in the 'genre' (Funeral for a Friend, From Autumn to Ashes, Silverstein, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, etc.)

Re: Death Metal + Autotune + Emo = ??

That BrokeNSYDE band cracks me up. It also makes me hate life because they're making the worst music I've ever heard and banging better chicks than I am.

This one also falls in the same "category" as the others:
