This. I have no problem with Ticketmaster doing paperless ticketing if you're free to return the ticket for a full refund prior to the start of the show. Right now they charge $6 in case something happens. Well, screw that, if something happens I'll sell it for face value and someone who wants to go can see the show. But if they take away the option to resell, then they need to offer a return policy that is reasonable and inclusive for no extra charge.

airline tickets are the same way, expcept they hide fees from you so no one knows. 30% of a ticket is all kinds of airport fees and taxes. it's easy for accounting

I knew this would happen sooner or later. So far, I haven't had to worry too much about the paperless tickets. They haven't been used for any concerts I was interested in attending. It looks like that's about to change though.

I just found out that Ticketmaster is using this method for the Bruce Springsteen show in Nashville. All of the general admission floor and the three closest reserved sections on either side of the stage will be sold as paperless tickets only. So, that's everything lower level from the front of the stage to beyond half court.

I may try for club level seats close to the stage in order to get physical tickets.

I don't know who this singer is or whatever but i figure is mostly for teen and pre-teens. does this mean that the parents that used their credit cards now have to go to a concert with their kids. hahaha. maybe they have a parent lounge.

Ticketmaster sucks. They are as bad as the scalpers themselves. I haven't been to a show in 2 years because I hate them so much. Convinience charge my ass. After the Springsteen Stubhub Fiasco I'm Suprised They Haven't Been Broken Up For The Monopoly They Are.
