Their track "Sleepyhead" was a Daily Download on emusic sometime last year. The song burrowed its way into my skull despite its initially off-putting harmonics and structure. I've had their EP "Chunk of Change" for a few months and really like it; I bought their new CD today.

I actually grew up with Mike. The album is fantastic. Some of the songs are absolutely beautiful.

Manners got rereleased with bonus tracks a couple of days ago. Though I ABSOLUTELY HATE IT when bands/labels do this so close to the original album's release, I can kind of forgive Passion Pit because their cover of the Cranberries' "Dreams" is so blissful:

I first saw these guys at Bonnaroo last year and got Manners once I got home. Been listening to it for a year now, in fact I was listening to it this morning on the way to work. That cover is a perfect mix of The Cranberries and Passion Pit's sounds, great job.

I'm seeing them next weekend at a earth day concert in DC, maybe they will play this.

Passion Pit have revealed the full release details about their new album Kindred. The follow-up to 2012's Gossamer is out April 21 via Columbia. I love, love, love this band. I find a lot of similarities between them and Foster the People. Thanks for the heads-up about the new album!

I loved Manners, but was lukewarm toward Gossamer with the exception of a few songs. Definitely in for the new album though.

I love Passion Pit - these tracks seem solid and I am looking forward to the album - I've seen them in concert a few times and will be seeing them in April again - well worth seeing if they come your way.
