I bit on the B&N deal. The discount on the two sets alone paid for the membership. If I found a better deal in a Sunday ad prior to their release I can always cancel the sets.

I placed two orders on the mono set last night, just in case it is as limited as rumored. One order at Amazon, because I assume their final price will reflect other stores' sales. However, just in case, I ordered from B&N too, but I didn't join the club. I did use the 10% coupon and Bing cashback though.

Good price, too bad I missed it (it's back up to 207.99 before any discounts, still a good price but not as good).

While McCartney was not 'hands on" in the mixing process at that stage, he was most certainly was up in the control room with the rest of the Beatles when it was done.

Got an email saying anyone who ordered a Box of Vision before July 1st will have it ship by August 15th. For those who ordered between July 1st and August 1st (such as myself), it should ship at the end of August. All of these pre-orders are considered first run and are numbered. Any ordered after the 15th will come from a non-limited 2nd run and on.

Can't wait for it to arrive. Had it preordered since March. The creator of this book posts over at Steven Hoffmans forum with updates. He said he is going to try and make available additional storage for the Mono box set and the Capital album sets around November.

Glad I got in on the $64 price instead of the $89.
