Re: Favorite little known song guest appearance...

Doug Bradley (aka Pinhead) - Narration on many Cradle Of Filth songs

Cronos (singer for Venom) - Narration at the end of Cradle Of Filths song Haunted Shores

Iggy Pop - Intro narration to White Zombies Black Sunshine (though im sure plenty of people know that one)

Not really song appearence's, but worth mentioning here

Joe Satriani produced the album The Eyes Of Horror by Possessed

Les Claypool co-produced the album Join The Army by Suicidal Tendencies

And on the Less Than Zero soundtrack, the song Life Fades Away by Roy Orbison was written by Glen Danzig

Re: Favorite little known song guest appearance...

My favorite Phil Collins live guest appearance was this one with Paul McCartney, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, George Martin, etc. performing the Abbey Road Medley.

Re: Favorite little known song guest appearance...

My favorite Phil Collins vocal guest appearance is on David Crosby's great song, 'Hero'.

weird a cover of an old Soft Boys song, never thought I'd see that.

Speaking of covers, it's not really that little known (it's really obvious) but I always liked Colin Hay's spot in Lazlow Bane's cover of Men at Work's Overkill. I still vastly prefer the original but it's nice that Hay was directly involved.
