I loved the last two albums as well, but the new single Take Back the City didn't do a thing for me.

It took me a few listens to get into this one, but now that I am, I think it's pretty damn good...but I also really love Take Back The City. It's a bit more mellow than the last record but pretty damn good...luckily it's not 11 versions of Chasing Cars 2 or anything like that.

Album sounds great, I've loved everything the band has done since "Polar Bears" though.

Another great album! I've been playing "When It's all Over, We Still Have to Clear Up" for weeks in my car and can't wait to get this new one.

eh, another disappointment from a band with so much potential...I guess I simply don't understand what people find "great" about it...This is a band who writes 1-2 terrific (astounding, in fact) songs per album with the rest being trite, boring filler...Unfortunately, this record has no "Chasing Cars" or "Run" to save it this go around.

Sorry, I've given up hope for the band...another bland, unmemorable record and missed opportunity. For those who are praising it, much like the ones who adore the new Keane record, come back to this thread in a couple months and let us know if you're still giving it air time on your iPod. Chances are strong that you probably won't be.

^ Agreed.

I got it the other day from Amazon for $4. Not even worth that much, IMO. I'll try to give it a chance, but so far, it's a big "Meh" for me.

I like it so far. To me, they can do no wrong.

Even if you're right about not keeping it in the rotation after a few months, it's still better than that new Keane mess.

A very good point - what a disaster that was. Amazon dl had it last week for $2.99 - someone else must have felt it was a stinker too.

Here's holding out hope for the new Shiny Toy Guns album and the Bloc Party which I have yet to pick up.
