Need help identifying song
 

I heard this song on the radio and I have been trying to figure out the title/artist.

It was a blues song, like a sing-story type..

some of the lyrics I remember

.."The landlady was nice..she asked me for rent. I said I'd get her to Friday.

Friday came around she asked me for rent. I said I dont got no rent because I go money because I go no job...

I was on the street...I asked my good friend...?..to stay with him. His girlfriend said no. he said his girlfriend is kinda funny. i said everyone's funny."

That's what I can remember. Had no luck doing a search on it.
