Anyone else rocking the new Testament record? I was a big fan of their sound on Formation... and this is a step up IMO. Killer riffs, heavy as fuck, and the solos are sweeeeeeeet!

Re: The Official METAL! Thread- Metalcore, Thrash, Progressive, Death, and MORE

This past Friday saw two great releases in Archspire's Relentless Mutation and Wolves in the Throne Room's Thrice Woven. I have never heard playing/singing that fast in an album as I heard in Archespire. I'm sure there is somewhere but my god I don't know how those guys are able to do the songs live (which they do).

Dunno if anyone's interested, but there's an Iron Maiden song-by-song thread going on in the Steve Hoffman Forums. We're about halfway thru the debut album.

I just learned about Elder and picked up their newest on vinyl. I would say they're a psychedelic stoner doom rock - that is pretty awesome!

Tribulation's new track. Has an Italian horror feel to it.
I love the new direction they've taken, starting with Children of the Night. Sounds like a soundtrack in search of a movie.
