Proper Record Cleaning Suggestions?
I did a search to see if there already was a thread open on this and couldn't find one, so I figured I would post it here. I figure this is the right place. Mods feel free to move if needed.
So, I finally got my (very) old record player working again. I'm very excited to start doing the vinyl thing once again and have already ordered the new albums. But I do have one old album that looks great but skips a little bit. I figure that a good cleaning might do some help. I realize it may not cure it, but it's not like it couldn't do with a good cleaning anyway. But I'm a little nervous because I can see how if I don't clean them correctly I might actually cause more damage.
What techniques or products do you guys use to keep your LPs clean and ready for use? Anything I should do to my record player?
