Am I going to hell for liking this song?
Anyone who has followed any of my threads know i pretty can tollorate anything, from hardcore death metal, to Avril and the likes. Anyways i had MTV hits on, and there is a vid featuring a cute chick singing about the seven things I hate about you, in a sort of Avrilish faux pop punk sound, that i was getting into and was catchy. Anyways when the song ended and the artists name came up, lets just say I was kind of ashamed of myself.

I know i should prob turn in my "man" card in by now, but the sad thing is thata even after knowing who it is, I still kind of like it and am tempted to add it to my mp3 player. Should i start seeking treatment, or are there others out there that can tollerate this.

No. Cut your balls off now, and mail them to someone who can actually use them.
Song is awful.
I can see how you think the video is good, if you were ever on 'Dateline: To Catch a Predator'.
quick, wash your ears out by listening to something actually good:

Wow. You really have awful taste in music. 'The Sisters of Mercy' are 80's cheese? yet the generic pussy-shitrock you posted is better? that's Ought-8 cheese if you ask me. I was wrong... stick with that first song, it actually made you seem like more of a man.

It's okay to like the song. Catchy is catchy. It's also okay to think she's cute. But knowing that she's only 15, keep that in mind, and keep it in your pants...your frightening, tightening pants.

wow, this feels like grade school. You are aware that musical tastes are personal preferences and people are entitled to like whatever the hell they want, right? If someone berates me for something I like, all I'll say in return is f*** off. I don't like Miley, but apparently someone does considering how much $$$ she's making. If someone wants to like her music, that's their prerogative, and apparently they're not alone.

Well, the only saving grace is that it was actually Milly Cyrus and not her fictional alter ego, but that's a pretty thin straw to grasp.
Don't feel bad about liking the song though. A lot of marketing guys spent a lot of time massaging that song to make it as appealing as possible. Just like a commercial jingle. It only stands to reason a few people outside the target demographic would fall prey to her cauterwalling, er, I mean, siren song.

I forced myself through the whole thing. Sounded like a combination of Stroke 9 and that Weatus 'Teenage Dirtbag' song, with lyrics sung by a whiny 15 year old pretending to know something about relationships. Not my cup of tea.
