I guess the laff was caused by Billie Jean (is not my lover) ...or a Springsteen song...

Tunnel of Love. I was expecting to be the only person to mention it, so I'm glad there are a few others who agree!

Thunder Road gets my vote at the moment but it changes so often.
Jungleland is amazing. Radio Nowhere is just fun. Murder Incorporated is great live. Born to Run will always be a song that no matter the mood, hell yeah have to sing now. And it is not the holidays until I hear Santa Claus is Coming to Town.

He wrote a song named Bobby Jean...about Steven Van Zandt, his guitarist who left the band at the time. The poster changed a few things around...changing it to Billie Jean and Gus Van Sant (film director).

I'm on Fire is my pick.

From the list, Born To Run, despite being more than sick of it.

My personal faves are The Ties That Bind and Cadillac Ranch.

Out of those listed I went with Thunder Road. One of my personal faves is the very RARE song If I were the Priest.

Disappointed that no one's brought up Jessie's Girl. That was a classic when I was in middle school. It was the first song I ever fast dance to with a girl. Maybe that's why it's my favorite I guess.

Well, you got the "Spring" part of the name right at least.

(the rest of it.... way off!!!)

My bad. I guess that's why they never play it on the radio when I request it. It makes me sad that I've confused the two in my memory since my first fast dance with a girl is such an important memory for me. I wonder what other parts of my memory might be off too.

There's no denying Bruce Springsteen is influential (just ask Brandon Flowers during Sam's Town). A lot of his music I can take or leave. I've listened to Nebraska a few times and it's good but not great. Maybe I need to listen to it more.

But, this... THIS is an awesome song:

I don't know much about Springsteen. I don't follow him, nor collect his music. Yet I've always felt "Streets of Philadelphia" is a beautiful, heartfelt, haunting ballad.

I like all the songs listed on the poll (except Other :)), but I went with Born To Run.

However, i'm talking about the version found on this...
