Highway to Hell lyrics

So I was listening to a talk show last night and they were talking about AC/DC (when Bon Scott was alive) and the song Highway to Hell. In the first or second verse, do he say "seasoned n-word"? Most of the lyrics show the line "season ticket", but this video begs to differ:

It's season ticket. That, by the way, is the band lip syncing the studio recording.

The line is "season ticket on a one-way ride."

In what possible way would "seasoned **********" make any sense whatsoever?

"Season ticket on a one-way ride" makes sense? lol

Eh, not that I care or anything. Brian Johnson says "season ticket" very nicely

I always thought,

it was "seized a ticket on a one way ride."

I always thought he said "seized a ticket" but in that video it does sounds like "Season ticket".

I think its how Bon Scott sings along with his accent that makes it hard to hear.

Slightly off topic:

AC/DC is good driving music.

Maybe Bon enjoyed dining with cannibals on occasion.

Growing up I used to think it was "send a ********** on a one way ride" but it sounds to me now as "she's a ********** on a way ride." It's not "seasoned ticket". They might change it now, but there is no way to change all the copies that have already been released from the get-go.

I've always thought it was "She's a ********** on a one way ride." Looks like I was not alone. Of course, I also thought it was "Hey now Jews".

This thread is reminding me of this Jim Bruer routine:

Living easy, living free
Season ticket on a one-way ride
Asking nothing, leave me be
Taking everything in my stride
Dont need reason, dont need rhyme
Aint nothing I would rather do
Going down, party time
My friends are gonna be there too

Im on the highway to hell

No stop signs, speed limit
Nobodys gonna slow me down
Like a wheel, gonna spin it
Nobodys gonna mess me round
Hey satan, payed my dues
Playing in a rocking band
Hey momma, look at me
Im on my way to the promised land

Im on the highway to hell
(dont stop me)

And Im going down, all the way down
Im on the highway to hell

This is the first I've ever heard of people mishearing the lyrics to this song. I'm totally amazed! I've been an AC/DC fan all my life. And even as a kid, I heard "Season ticket"...and "Hey satan, paid my dues". Though I usually heard it as "pay my dues". But I got the jist of it. And never once thought it was the various other lyrics people were 'hearing'.

I always thought it was "seized a ticket" but I have to admit it doesn't sound a whole lot like that now that I listen. The N-Word doesn't make any sense there either though so I'm pretty sure that's not what he's saying.
