Finally saw this last night. Three other couples in the theater, so I don't expect good box office returns :( Still, what a great show. The 3D effects were subtle but very effective. Great performance and what an enthusiastic (and good looking) crowd! It got me thinking : there's no way that a huge crowd of english speaking Americans would show up for any foreign language rock or pop concert. I guess that's just a difference in our culture versus elsewhere in the world...

Anyway, judging by my crowd, I'd expect this to be the last week the show is in "wide" release. I really recommend it.

I wonder if there's any way to duplicate that 3D technology on a blu-ray disc?

yes I quite enjoyed the crowd shots...

as for the film... um, I was kind of let down, I'm not sure what it was, but three fourths in I just kind of nodded off... I've seen them in concert before but in filmed form, something seemed lacking.

i think it's the setlist. didn't seem to focus much on classics or crowd pleasers.

in my mind, it's not the best u2 concert film i've ever seen, but it's definitely one of the best concert films i've ever seen.

Funny, I had the opposite reaction. I went in thinking the short run time was about right, that it might get old quickly. When it was over, I wished it had been the whole show. I've never been to a U2 show, before, so this may be the closest I get.

My brother and I were the only two people in the theater when we saw this last night.
