It's about time!

(I think the amount of time since their last album is now longer than the amount of time between that last album and their first album!)

How old are these guys now? Anyone hit 50?

EDIT: wow I looked it up, 50 + and Kate Pierson is about to hit 60. How time flies.

Wow, she's that old !! Some serious photoshopping in that pic cause Kate's defiantly a couple sizes larger, but still looks good for her age ! Always thought she was hot back in the day. (Guess not that it mattered since not her 'type')
Guess Cindy's back.... did they make an album without her ?? Know she quit the band a while ago.

I believe their previous album was w/out Cindy. Having low expectations is probably going to make this album killer :)

Yeah, Cindy was not on "Good Stuff". I believe she took time off to have kids.

I can tell you, I was front row for their D.C. show this past summer, and all look great. Cindy had a little bit of a ponch (sp?), but Kate was the slimmest I've seen her in years. And she looked timeless in the face. Exactly the same when I first saw her in 1990 on the "Cosmic Thing" tour. Also, they debuted five or six of the new songs on their last tour and they all kicked ass. I can WAIT to hear the studio version. And LiquidSky? Keith doesn't look older than 30 years old. He was closest to us. The guy definitely has made a deal with the devil.

But she also lists herself as 55 there, yet saw somewhere else her birth year was 1948.

I'm excited about this album. The B-52's are one of my favorite bands and this should be good. After all, Astralwerks is releasing it, and they are an amazing label. Put the two together and I bet I'm in for a nice treat.

60 is the new 50. I met a HOT 60 year old American-Chinese woman on the plane from China the other day. Fake boobs, great body, ageless face. Amazing. Looked 40.

Now this is interesting. I can't remember the magazine. But it was most likely Rolling Stone. And during the height of their career (1989-1990). In the article it explicitly said that Fred and Keith (and the late Ricky) were the only gay members of the band. But I just Google'd "Is Kate Pierson gay?" and found several websites that said she was. Came out late (??)

Just heard the song "Funplex" on Fred's show Party out of bounds on Sirius First Wave- Sounds like classic B52's :)
