Just a quick bump to let anyone who might be interested know that Brighter Than A Thousand Suns has been recently re-released with remastered sound, bonus tracks and now the album has most of the tracks with the original Chris Kimsey (who also mixed Night Time) mixes instead of the ones released back in 1986. The difference is not overt (it still has that mid-80s Killing Joke sound) but it is there. Chessboards specially sounds much more powerful now. The synth parts are not as prominent or loud in the mix, some of tracks vary in length (with special mention to Victory, which has been mercifully reduced from its 7 minute original version to only 4). I like this version better, since my biggest problem with the original album was the production.
