There is a metal song that has opera vocals, followed male vocals (not quite cookie monster).

The opera vocals say something about no premonition...propehcy

The male vocals say something along the lines of "The world will burn by sunrise"

Can't really understand much after that.

The song is 6:35 - I know that much.

Any help on the song or the band?

Yep, that's it. I tried searching for the lyrics on Google but didn't have any luck. Turns out the correct lyrics are "The world will burn by Soraths flame"

Isn't "To Mega Therion" an old Celtic Frost album?

Except for the first few albums, which are forgettable death metal, most of their stuff is in this vein. Some songs are more focused on the rock side, while others are more classically oriented. But it's all pretty good.

Yes it is, which is what further confused me about the name and band that played this song. I have this song on an unlabeled mix CD and I've always thought the title was "To Mega Therion", but when I went to Amazon and listened to a preview of the tracks of the Celtic Frost album by that name I didn't hear this song or see a song with that title.

The phrase "to mega therion" is an Alaster Crowley thing, based on a passage in Revelations (according to Wiki). It's been used by a few other death metal bands from time to time.
