My top show of 2007 also happens to be my top show of all time. This is something, considering I had never heard a single one of the band's songs before going.

Black Sabbath, errr... I mean Heaven and Hell!!!
I dare ANY Rock and Roll or Heavy Metal singer try to pull off what Ronnie James Dio did on this tour - at the age of 65!!! From the looks (and sounds) of things he's still got a few really good years left in him! |

Unfortunately I only made it to 1 show this year - My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult - but they were shockingly great. Who knew that not only would they still be around in 2007, but that they'd still be putting on great shows?
I've got my tickets for SFA and the Spice Girls in January and Feburary and can't wait. |

I think I only went to 3 this year:
Heaven And Hell - Awesome Rush - The best setlist of any Rush show I have seen, so probably my favorite Rush show Sonic Youth - Great performance. Probably 75% of the set was stuff I had never seen them perform before. The downside was that the audience had a ton of Austin dicks in it. Kinda ruined the show. |
I didn't attend too many shows..
But if it was in Order:
1)Smashing Pumpkins, Ridgefield Washington 2)Armin Van Buuren, Seattle Washington 3)Above and Beyond, Seattle Washington 4)Endfest, Seattle Washington 5)Blank and Jones, Seattle Washington 6)Kyau and Albert, Seattle Washington |

2) Bayside @ Slim's (San Francisco, CA) 3) Fall Out Boy/Gym Class Heroes @ San Jose Events Center (San Jose, CA) 4) Flogging Molly @ Fort Mason (San Francisco, CA) Didn't go to that many shows. Then again seeing Neurosis (after trying to for 8 years) made it an amazing year. |
I forgot The Cure and Kruder & Dorfmeister at Ultra Mustival in Miami, FL, Yo La Tengo @ Jacksonville, FL and The Thermals @ St. Augustine, FL.
If I live in Seattle I would've gone to Sasquatch Music Festival. ;) Some 2007 Gigs not in Festivals I've seen that did'nt quite make my best of 2007: The Killers @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (worst show I've seen in 2007) The Avett Brothers @ Jacksonville, FL Of Montreal @ Jacksonville, FL Tokyo Police Club & Cold War Kids @ St. Augustine, FL Cold War Kids @ Madison Square Garden Rodrigo y Gabriela, The Streets, Dirty Pretty Things @ Wembley Stadium The Immigrants @ The Forum & BGCA Morrissey @ Jacksonville, FL I will be driving and more likely attending my first Bonnaroo this year.
