2008 Rank'em as You Hear Them Thread

The rules are simple:

This thread is for ranking albums that are released in 2008 in the United States. This does not include reissues or albums that you have purchased/heard for the first time this year but were released in prior years.

Keep your list in one post (edit!) and keep them in some sort of order (see the second post for my system).

Around mid-year and at the end of the year I will compile a list of the top albums as voted by MusicTalk.

Note: Please don't use a "placeholder" post if you don't actually plan on updating your list.
You know who you are!

Hopefully we can introduce each other to some more good music this year!
