FEEDBACK: regarding the Quasi-Comprehensive List
Being that I put time and effort into keeping the MusicTalk Quasi-Comprehensive List up to date (barring vacations here and there), I'd like to know if said time and effort is worth it and whether or not I should continue with a new one next year.
So please fill out the poll honestly. I will have it expire automatically come mid-December. For those unfamiliar with that thread, it contains a list of upcoming releases (for US release dates) a list of incomplete releases (those with limited release or available only outside the US) a list of albums released thus far for the year, broken down alphabetically by artist, but is obviously incomplete a link to any thread for a given 2007 release in MusicTalk, should one exist (and which i have seen)* *This last thing is invaluable, in my opinion, for preventing duplicate threads from appearing, so I'm especially curious how many people have used it. Also, feel free to suggest any changes I might make or explain why you voted for certain choices. Thanks for your time and help! |
I use it to look for new releases. IMO there's a LOT there that doesn't need to be - I'm not real interested in what's already been released or anything without a firm release date.

I use the list all the time. Keep it the way it is. :D

Would people prefer me to organize the upcoming releases by date? Or is alphabetically better, since almost every other site (including my primary sources - metacritic and insound) does that?
If I were to do that, the upcoming release lists (which are also stickied) would become redundant as well. -ringding- |
