Not the standard Christmas Songs?

So the fat man in red is almost here. What are some christmas songs that rock, are funny or not the norm.

The only one I can think of is Christmas In Hollis by Run DMC.

Brian Setzer- "Boogie Woogie Christmas" and "Dig That Crazy Christmas". They're real gone man, I mean really gone.

There's a real good parody of Black Sabbath's Iron Man. "I am Santa Clause"

Porky Pig singing Blue Christmas

I Want A Hippopotamus for Christmas-Gayla Peevey

I've Got A Present For Santa-Sarah Taylor

Grandma Got Runover By A Reindeer-?

Santa Clause and his Old Lady-Cheech and Chong

Walking 'Round in Women's Underwear(to the tune of Winter Wonderland)

Couple of good rockers:
Springsteen-Santa Clause Is Coming To Town
Mellencamp-I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause

Worth a mention:
Greg Lake-Father Christmas
The Jethro Tull Christmas Album

GuessWho 11-17-07 09:10 AM

there's no E in Santa Claus

The Infidel 11-17-07 01:41 PM

He's seen too many Tim Allen movies. ;)

Also, Grandma didn't get "runover", unless one of the reindeer left her sink on too long.

Jethro Tull's "Christmas Song"

"I Know What Boys Like" was the only song I knew but when I heard "Christmas Wrapping" for the first time I knew it was The Waitresses.

"Make it Home" - Juliana Hatfield

Not explicitly a Christmas song, but the feeling is there (and plus the bridge is reminiscent of "O Come All Ye Faithful".

FinkPish 11-18-07 07:15 PM

My family has had a tradition of playing the Calypso Christmas album by the De Paur Chorus.
