They got a ton of b-sides and rarities. Waiting for volume 2. I can't stand so many ballads...

I'm surprised 'Long Way Down' isn't on there from their first.

That's the only Goo song I like. Also no Naked (either Japanese or US version) is strange.

Actually, that's from their fifth album - Goo Goo Dolls, Jed, Hold Me Up and Superstar Carwash all preceded it - but otherwise, I agree with you. Only one track off of A Boy Named Goo seems harsh.

There were far more singles/hits than just "Name" from that album. As you stated, there's "Long Way Down", but also "Only One" (which was the first single off that album, and was released twice), "Ain't That Unusual" and "Naked" (which, DVD Josh pointed out, too).

Maybe it's because they already released a collection of material from the earlier albums in What I Learned About Ego, Opinion, Art & Commerce, and some of those tracks are already on it, but still, that disc had like 21 songs, and this one's got only 14. They could easily fit another 3 or 4 tracks on there.

There's also some other singles/non album tracks from movie soundtracks that could've made it onto this collection, too - like "Lazy Eye" from the Batman & Robin soundtrack.

That soundtrack is as good as the movie itself was bad.

That's probably why this is "Greatest Hits Volume One."
