i wonder if they were thinking of early AFI when creating the list (more punk/hardcore then the pop shit they make now.)

Thumbs down to:
AFI Guy and De La Rocha

Missing:
Mustaine, Halford, Tate, and...

I think Michael Kiske should be on there. Don't under-estimate Helloween's influence.

In what world is Faith No More not metal? Mike Patton definitely deserves to be on there.

Also, nice to see Bon Scott get the nod. Brian Johnson has a great set of pipes, but Bon always was and always will be the archetypal frontman.

But perhaps that performance came after a long string of shows and his voice was shot.

Gotta love how they can't even say Black Sabbath anymore.

Agree with others, lack of Tate/Halford is ridiculous. But whatever, it's yet another list to get people to talk.

I can't believe no one is commenting on Angela Gossow (Arch Enemy). I what world would she be considered a good singer? Her and her band are awful.

I agree some of these bands aren't metal and even if they were to include these other genres there are far better singers in each. However I agree that Mike Patton belongs.

Well, I think you are confusing being a "good singer" with being a "good metal frontman". Those 2 things are not necessarily the same thing.

I was going to say the same thing. She's a pretty good frontwoman (PC!!!), very enjoyable to watch.

My vote would go for Mark Greenway...greatest "voice" ever.
