Junior Senior - Hey Hey My My Yo Yo

I am still quite surprised it took nearly two years for this release to make it stateside. As for the album - fun, fun, fun... it's been noted that Junior Senior is best experienced in short doses, since it might be a little too bubble gummy, but I've been really diggin' the album.

my fave tracks:

- Can I Get Get Get
- Take My Time
- We R the Handclaps

I think it's a good album. They've upped the funk-disco content and downplayed the trash-rock of the debut. It's still incredibly stupid music (probably deliberate), but I like it. Reminds me of the Pooh Sticks a little.

What a great video. Very Tom Tom Club. And I didn't know Kate Pierson and Cindy Wilson did vocals on this (!)
