My favorite thing he ever did.

There's not enough love here for Plays Live. I think it's the best thing he did pre- So.

I think Burn You Up, Burn You Down, specifically the version from HIT, is a great callback to his previous style/work.

I love the Rock Theatre Album he did when he was in Genesis. Back in the days when they were interesting.

Huh? What's the Rock Theater Album?

That is this:

It was just a compilation, which I once owned on CD only for the fact it contained the then rare single edit of "Watcher of the Skies" (since reissued on the Genesis Archive box set). All the other tracks on it were culled from the albums of Gabriel-era Genesis:

1. I Know What I Like (In Your Wardrobe)
2. Harold the Barrel
3. Harlequin
4. Watcher of the Skies (single edit)
5. The Fountain of Salmacis
6. Supper's Ready

I don't think this song was a hit but I like it. Pure 80's Gold.

That Voice Again

Rhythm of the Heat is one of his best songs. It makes you want to go outside at night in a loincloth in the Desert waving a stick near a campfire.
