Summer concerts you're attending?
Did a search, but didn't see a thread for this.
What shows are you going to this summer concert season?
So far, I have tickets for:
-Wilco, June 28
-The Beastie Boys, August 6
-Download Festival 2007 (Modest Mouse, Wolf Parade, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Neko Case, Guster, etc.), August 18
all in Boston, all outdoors. It will be my first time seeing The Beastie Boys and Wolf Parade. It's been about 5 years since I've seen Wilco (saw them in Providence the day after Yankee Hotel Foxtrot came out), and I just saw Modest Mouse in May, but I'd see them every day if I could.
cheers,
-the Jesus

Right now the only tickets I've got are for Queens of the Stone Age July 22nd. I'll probably go to the Slayer/Manson show in Aug. Other than that there isn't a whole lot of good coming around right now. Still waiting on Alice Cooper to announce his US dates...

Caught Doobie Brothers & Peter Frampton Thursday night at Pine Knob (DTE Energy Music Theater).... the place was packed and they always put on a great show.
Looking forward to Dave Matthews Band this August and whatever lawn seats I can scrape up for other shows until then.

I'm just blown away that someone on the 'net used the correct usage of "you're" in a title thread! Holy crap!
Probably going to Pete Yorn at the racetrack in August.
Radio Birdman next week.
The Queers next week.

I've not been able to plan yet. Have a big Ph D exam end of this month, so May and June were out, and my girlfriend is moving some time in late July/early August so that has a couple shows I'd like to catch around then (DMB, Virgin Music Festival) etc. on hold as I don't want to buy tickets and then have to sell them as I'll be out of town helping her move.

My buddy's band is playing Warped Tour, so I'll go to that. I am going to try to get out and see the Stray Cats since they are in my top 5 favorite bands ever.

So far I'm definitely going to The Police (Toronto), Poison/Ratt (Syracuse), Velvet Revolver/Alice in Chains (Buffalo) and I'm still up in the air if I'm going to the Rush show in Buffalo.
I'm also going to be seeing Robert Cray and The Cherry Poppin' Daddies (Rochester) as part of the free "part in the park" concerts.

So far I've been to:
Pink Martini
"Weird Al" Yankovic
Carbon Leaf
The Roots
I will be making the trek to Atlantic City to see Tony Bennett during my birthday weekend in August. Can't wait for that.
And there's a regional Johnny Cash tribute band that I'd like to check out.
Not much else is on the horizon for me, though. A combination of rising ticket prices, low paying job, and the avoidance of the Richmond area by most every band that I'm interested in keeps my concert attendance at a minimum.

As of right now, probably just John Mayer. All of the bigger acts just finished coming through here. The only other big act for summer was Kelly Clarkson, and she canceled her tour. I'm praying daily for an Aesop Rock show.

The White Stripes on July 22 in Portland, Maine.
Beastie Boys August 6 in Boston. I figured I might get decent seats for this show during the internet pre-sale. Not so much....section 5 row U which is pretty far back. Anyway.....my first Beastie show so I'm pretty excited regardless.
